  The user interface of the app is sleek and minimal. Unlike most of the app lockers, the app is clean and pretty simple to use. When you first launch the app, it asks to lock some recommended apps and set the password. After setting the password, you will reach to its home screen. The app’s home screen is divided into four tabs.  You can easily access any tab by swiping left or right.  The first tab you get is for locking any app on your phone.  Here you will get a big green button with a + icon.  You need to tap this button and select the apps that you want to protect.  The second tab is for locking the screen backlight and third is for locking screen rotation.  And the fourth tab contains the app settings

  I have tested many applocks when I was researching for my post on 10 best app lockers for Android. And most of them have only PIN/password and pattern unlocking method. But, Applock – Fingerprint has four unlocking methods to choose. These include PIN, password, pattern and gesture method. Having that many options makes it a great app locker for Android. Setting the unlocking method is also easy on this app. You can set your preferred method while you launch the app first time. Also, you can change the lock method anytime from app settings.

  Most of us prefer to set a screen off time for 30 seconds to 1 minutes to save battery. But sometimes, we need more screen off time in some specific apps. For example, when we read a blog or a pdf book on our Android, we need more time. And Applock – Fingerprint does this job perfectly. It gives you the option to select specific apps in which you want the screen to be always on. The app also has one more unique option where you can lock rotation for individual apps. And setting up both these features is as easy as it could be. Just swipe the screen to go to the dedicated tab. And there, tap the big ‘+’ button to select the apps and you are done. In rotation lock tab, you can set the screen to auto rotate or fixed to vertical mode.

Apart from above-stated features, Applock – Fingerprint can also lock system toggles. The app supports almost every important system toggle including Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth. Along with these, it includes USB connection, app info page and even recent apps Moreover, you can also lock your incoming and outgoing calls using this app. This is also a great feature to prevent others from making or receiving calls. Also, if enabled, it can automatically lock new apps that you install on your Android.

Now, here comes the main part. You definitely want to improve performance of Android phone to make it super fast. For this, you always try to install the apps that are fast and lightweight. Hence, you may have concerns about the speed of Applock – Fingerprint too. But don’t worry. As far as the speed is a concern, this app is undoubtedly one of the best app lockers for Android. I can even say that the speed and accuracy are the USPs of the app. However, with some heavy apps like Facebook, it delays presenting the lock screen. But, this is probably the flaw of the locked app, not the Applock – Fingerprint. If you are using fingerprint, you just need to put your finger one time. And it will unlock the app instantly. Even, if you use other modes such as PIN, pattern or gesture, it unlocks the app spontaneously. It is perhaps the fastest app locker for Android thanks to its being lightweight.
